The Agency on Aging awards Older American Act service funding to local agencies in its eight-county service area of DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will Counties. These services include Information and Assistance, Home Delivered and Community Dining Meals, Caregiver Support, Elder Abuse, Long Term Care Ombudsman and Health Promotion Programs.

The Township also provides funding for Senior Services Associates’ office in Aurora. In addition, Aurora Township is a major provider of paratransit and publictransportation for seniors and disabled citizens through the Ride in Kane program.
